Worship and Prayer

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:24

Collective Worship is an integral part of life at Eastnor C of E Primary and we recognise the importance of making sure this special part of the school day is enjoyed by all members of the school community. To ensure that Collective Worship is valued, meaningful and enriching, the school day has been adapted to allow time for the whole school to visit St John The Baptist Church each day.

Collective worship at Eastnor has a strong emphasis on Christianity however all sessions are conducted in a manner that is sensitive to everyone. We often welcome governors, parents, volunteers and members of the local community to join worship, especially on 'Family Friday's' where we enjoy a celebration assembly to recognise the achievements of the Eastnor children.

Our school prayer

Dear Lord,

As we learn, work and play,

Help us always, every day,

To do our best and try to be,

As kind and gracious, Lord as Thee.

In the playground or classroom,

Help our hearts and minds to bloom.

Bless us all, that we may be,

A loving school community

Our Morning Prayer

Thank you, God in heaven,

For a day begun.

Thank you for the breezes,

Thank you for the sun.

For this time of gladness,

For our work and play,

Thank you, God in heaven,

For another day.

Lunchtime Grace

Dear Father,

Thank you for delicious yummies,

To fill our grateful, hungry tummies,

For other things we’re thinking of,

And your everlasting love.

For the blessings that you bring,

Thank you God for everything.
