School has been outstanding at supporting my child's needs. They really have gone above and beyond any expectation I had of an education provider. I cannot emphasise how grateful I am to the teachers for their compassion, nurture and support.

Pastoral and Family Support

Our team here at Eastnor Primary, are always available to speak to you regarding any concerns you may have.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. If you have any worries in relation to the welfare or safety of any children or young people, please contact the following members of staff.

Mrs Sarah Tart- Designated Safeguarding Lead

Miss Rachel Patchett -Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Ms Nina Shield (Local Academy Board) Mr Craig Watson (Executive Link Director DHMAT) - Safeguarding Governors

All children in school know they have trusted adults who will listen to them. They also know that Mrs Tart is always available should they want to share any concerns they have about their own safety or the well-being of others.

From time to time families may need extra support too which we will be happy to provide.

Safeguarding Information

We would also like to reassure you that we rarely share information with other agencies about your child without first speaking to you.

Even if we make the decision to speak to Social Care about your child, we will always undertake to share our intention to do so with you unless we deem that doing so could put the child at greater risk of harm, or impede a criminal investigation.

We fully understand that this can be a very distressing set of circumstances but we can only reassure you that we follow the procedures required by Herefordshire Safeguarding Children Board.
