Reading Raffle Winners
There were many reading raffle tickets given out across the school this week! Raffle tickets are awarded to those children who read 3 or more times during a week. A child from each key stage is then selected at random and, as our reading champion of the week, they get to choose a book to take home.
Our winners from this week are pictured below. What a fantastic achievement.
We know many of you are busy and the children have lots of other things to work on outside of school however, we can't stress enough how important it is to their reading and writing development that they read often.
Well done to those children who received raffle tickets this week. Keep up the fantastic reading, as not only will you be in for a chance of winning the raffle next week but you are helping yourself to become a confident and competent reader!
Reminder about Half day Cluster Training
Half day closing on Friday 1st July
Collection time has been scheduled between 12.30pm and 1pm so children will eat lunch before being sent home. Two members of staff will be on duty on the playground at this time and we will release children as we usually do at the end of the day.
Lifepath
What a wonderful experience all the children in class 3 had at Malvern Priory, where they took part in lots of great activities helping them to understand the life of a monk. They particularly enjoyed working with looking at leeches and making some fantastic brass rubbings. It was so lovely to see all the schools come together and sing in between learning about the path through life the Monks had taken as well as learning lots about the Priory.

Jubilee Books
Queens Jubilee celebrations have continued with each pupil in the school receiving a special Jubilee book to take home with some summer reading challenges. We hope you enjoy them!
Picnic Lunch
Due to the amazing performances that every pupil gave during Oliver, we had a picnic lunch as a way of celebrating the hard work that was put into the show.

PTA Summer Fair
We would just like to say a big thank you to the PTA for running the summer fair and all the parents who came along. In total over £2000 was raised from the day - what an incredible amount!
Sporting Success in Class 3
Over the last week 3 members of class 3 have played or have been put forward to higher levels for their sporting ability.
George has been asked to attend a trial and has completed one evening with Aston Villa.
Ruby has come 2nd in a green ball tennis tournament.
Will H played for Worcestershire Under 11s against Staffordshire in two T20 matches on Wednesday, displaying some great bowling and fielding skills.
Congratulations to all of them!

Class None
Eastnor Primary School are proud to present Oliver! Over the past few months, we have been working on our amazing musical production and we hope that you all made it to one of our performances. Putting on a school play is a rewarding and busy time of the school year, and it wouldn't have been possible for us to do this without the expertise and help of lots of wonderful people. Every child from school has taken part, whether it was singing, dancing or working back stage. They have all performed amazingly.
We would like to thank Ben Mowbray, Katie Balson and Hannah West for their efforts and support to get the children confident to perform.
Many thanks for the wonderful feedback we have received about this year's production congratulating everyone.
One grandmother rang the school and congratulated the children saying, 'It was so good that it could have been on the West End'!
We are already thinking about next years performance!
Here are some photos from the show.
