Innovative
"This very well-led school provides pupils with an exceptional education and school experience. Yet there is a reflective modesty that serves the staff, pupils and community well. Leaders and staff know what is working well and what needs further adjustment. And this reflective, evaluative attitude and drive for ongoing improvement typifies leadership. It is another aspect that makes this school stand out." Ofsted 2024
At Eastnor C of E Primary School we are always thinking of new ways to inspire the children and staff. This includes working with specialist teachers in PE, Music, Drama and French as well as working in partnership with different organisations such as the Ledbury Poetry Festival, RHS Malvern, and Our Star Theatre Company.
Through these partnerships the children have experienced some truly enriching projects both inside and outside the classroom such as Poetry Workshops, taking part in the RHS Malvern Spring Garden Challenge and even filming for the BBC's Countryfile.
It is also very important that our staff are given the opportunity to take part in the highest quality continued professional development. For example, Mrs Tart has recently been awarded a PSQM (Primary Science Quality Mark). PSQM is a comprehensive evidence-based professional development programme that effectively develops science leadership, ensuring teachers have the knowledge, capability and support they need to transform science education and shape future generations. Mrs Driscoll also trained in Birmingham to become a Senior Mental Health Leader.
This academic year, Mrs Dawe will be completing her Forest School Training and Mrs Driscoll and Mrs Harvey are working towards achieving an RE Quality Mark.
